App won't startup

Hey all. So I just tried to open VS 1.2.073 on my mac running 10.15.7 Catalina and all I get is one bounce in the dock and then nothing. No error message, no loading, no nothing.
I updated VS via the app store on June 10 and hadn't opened it since upgrading. Any ideas? Thx.

@Retrograde Try downloading the trial and see if that starts.
If it does, I can send you a license for the non-appstore version -
@Retrograde There is a new version. on the app store now (1.2.074) please try that also.
