When I load an existing color palette via a custom palette,
      the current palette is overwritten/replaced.

When I load a custom color palette, I want the old one to be
retained and a new one to be created so that both are available
      to me.

Currently, this only works as expected if I load my palette via the
standard document palette. So, I have to load the standard palette
first to have both palettes available.

It would be nice if I could do this from a custom palette as well.

      Here a video

      Win 11
      CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 9600X, 6-core.
      GPU: Nvidia Geforce RTX 5070.

@Subpath This was done by design, to replace the current (external) palette with the opened palette.
For new palette panels you can use Open from the document color palette (as in the recording), or from the Panels -> Palette menu.
