What settings do I need to adjust so the shift modifier drags the selected node(s) in a 90, 180 or 45 degree angle?

I'm sorry if this got answered elsewhere before. I am still trying to figure out how to move a node using the shift key modifier to constrain it to a 90, 45, or 180 degree angle. Right now when I do it, it seems to want to take many angles instead. It works in some ways, but it seems to want to angle everything toward another existing node...

@Boldline Is the "Constrain Line Angle" checked in the Settings -> Constraint section? If so, uncheck it.
