Quick edit option for eraser tool size not showing changes in real time

The eraser tool size shortcut (shift+option while dragging) does not show the brush size or shape while it's being adjusted the way the brush tool does.

Interestingly, the node removal tool quick adjust shows the modifications in real time the way they should be with the eraser tool - so I'm guessing it's just a bug with the eraser tool one.

Also, could a basic "reset" option be added in the eraser tool panel (and in other applicable panels) to set the brush back to a regular perfect circle?
