Customizing the contextual menu
-
@b77
Thank you but I have that already there.
-
@Ayo OK, then is 'Refresh' failing to work when you click it in the context menu?

but I see no visual change in the contextual menu bar.
You mean the top toolbar row?
That is customized with the "Customize Toolboxes" command and in the toolbox select Context Panel.
-
@Ayo If you want to customize the context bar at the top, this is how: https://recordit.co/6eqzTvjlL4

@VectorStyler
Yes the top row in the contextual menu.
But if I understand you correctly, I need to be in the toolbox instead of the contextual menu? A bit confusing.

Thank you.
How do you achieve this in "Contextual Menu..." if this is not the right way?
-
@Ayo The context panel/bar at the top has two rows.
The first row can be customized with 'Customize Toolboxes': https://recordit.co/6eqzTvjlL4The context menu is the menu displayed by the app when you right-click
with the mouse or Ctrl-click with the trackpad.This one can be customized with the 'Contextual Menu' command from the VectorStyler menu.

@b77
I'm going to try. So your first recording is a miracle
Thank you.

@Ayo For 'Refresh' specifically Cmd-R is faster than clicking a button, IMO.

Thank you, but I just set myself a task to find out things.
Cmd-Q and everything is over!

Sorry for this rude response, but sometimes I get a little irritated by the inconsistency of naming in Vectorstyler. Let me explain...
"The VectorStyler Toolbox is located on the left side of the main window" as the documentation says. So when I search for customization of the Context Panel, the top horizontal panel as the documentation says, I don't search in Customize Toolbox. It seems logical to me, but not in Vectorstyler's nomenclature. Then call it Primary and Secondary toolbox or Top toolbox or whatever so ever, but don't send people into the woods.
Apologies again and thank you for your help. I know where to find it now.

@Ayo The first row of the context panel at the top is like a second toolbox with
a different set of commands.It's been grouped with the contextual part (the second row which cannot be
customized), that's why it is edited with 'Customize Toolboxes' (plural).

I was thinking more of this kind of plural
