If I have a drawing in VS with bitmap effects and other things that will become bitmap graphics when exported to SVG and PDF, I need an export option to skip these effects when exporting so that I avoid bitmap output.

Affinity has the option "Rasterise: Nothing" which ensures that 100% of the output is vector. That the exported file will of course look different after that is to be expected.

The scenario is that I have created an illustration with effects in VS, I decide to continue working on it in Affinity Designer, where there are many more options for mixing bitmap and vector, and it is somewhat more flexible to apply effects.

Or something else, where you decide to try out the graphics in Blender, Illustrator, CorelDRAW or whatever else people are working in in addition to what you did in VS.

It's ok, I can only see clearly when I close my eyes. 😁
