Could the "Create Palette from Image" use an image pasted in the file?

Could the "Create Palette from Image" also have the added ability to use an image pasted in the file as opposed to only finding a source file on the system?

@Boldline Select the image in the document, in the Color Palette panel menu select Create Colors -> Create from Selection. This should do it.
