Why is one point magnetic and connected and the other not (see screen shot)

@Buntstift I will try to replicate this, not sure yet why that did not snap to the end of the vertical line.
On issue that might be that too many snapping options are enabled and one (Object) might take priority over the other (Point) -
I tested it on the next lines which are also straight: straight lines do not seem to be magnetic.

@Buntstift Disable all other snapping modes and leave the Point mode on, then it should work.

Thank you! That was very helpful. Obviously the lines had problems with the snapping settings.
