Text distortion: adding a stroke (after)--> changes the text size

I've applied deformations to text without a stroke and adding a stroke afterwards changes the size of the text.
If this is unavoidable, it is a good idea to remember to finalise the text before distortion:

@Pat Are these deformations Image Effects or Shape Effects?
In this case Shape Effect is better.

These should be listed in the Shape Effects panel.

I guess you haver this in artboard 5.

@VectorStyler I'll send you this file again asap. The fill colour of one of the contour object can not be changed.
