      Using the new 71 build, I noticed that when I create a new layer, it displays the thumbnail of the layer below for a brief second. The same is true in reverse if I delete a layer

        @Boldline Yes, this is the result of delayed refresh of the layer previews.
        I will try to improve this.

            Also noticed this, and wanted to note that this issue also occurs when switching between open files.

            Top level thumbnails display the previous file's thumbnails when switching between files and even when the parent layer thumbnails are refreshed, opening the child layers still maintain the previews from the previous file that I worked on.
