"Zoom Tool Click Zooms Out" preference to also work with the temporary zoom tool

The preferences for Modifier Keys include setting a key for "Zoom Tool Click Zooms Out". I have this set on Option, which is consistent with Illustrator, FreeHand, Affinity Designer etc.
However the temporary zoom tool, which is summoned while Command Spacebar is held down, doesn't recognise the addition of the Option key for zooming out (by click or drag). Apparently, the temporary zoom tool can only zoom in.
There are umpteen other ways of zooming out (eg Command -, Option scrollwheel) but 30 years of muscle memory is hard to shift.
Could this be enabled?

Yes, this is caused by deactivating the temporary zoom if other keys are pressed.
I added this, will try to fix it ASAP.
