Image as fill in appearance

Is there any option to add custom image as fill in appearance? I couldn't find. If its not available can we have this is future?

@Jayanta-Das It is possible to make a tiling pattern from an image.
And to use it as a fill (clipped into a shape) with no styling, just apply the image on the object using the Links panel.
