Is there a way to lock an artboard? I have designed one artboard with art and am working on a second artboard. Often as I am doing work on the second artboard, things on the first artboard are affected and are getting deleted by mistake.

I guess I could just select all the contents of the first artboard and lock them with the "lock object"
I was thinking there might be an option in the artboard/canvas panel to choose to lock particular artboards

No such option. In VS, artboards re just "guides" for printing and exporting. The layer hierarchy is of a canvas covers all artboards.

One workaround is to have a separate layer (with sublayers maybe) for an artboard, and then lock that.
