macOS - Paste Inside replaces objects when clipboard contains raw text

I discovered this by accident. Had raw text (fx a bit of an URL copied from Chrome) in the clipboard instead of graphics. Pasted inside a shape or a closed path and the selected object was replaced by the text object.

Once pasted and the text is instead a VS text object the issue does not occur.
