    Is there an option to tie the scale of a grid layout to the artboard?

      I'm sure this already exists - but I wanted to tie the sizing of a grid to the artboard so when I zoomed in it would not make the grid smaller but stay the same spacing as when I made it at full view - does this make sense? I thought it might be "fixed position" in the grid editor, but that's not it

        @Boldline No such option.
        One thing that can be done is to use smaller grid spacing, end then parts of the grid are not show when zoomed out.

        Also, there are artboard grids that are specific and limited to an artboard only (but nothing to do with zooming)

          I will try this out - this may be what I am thinking of in this case

            @Boldline The Grid panel menu has a Create Artboard Grid option.

              @VectorStyler Thanks! I just tried that and it's exactly what I was looking for. There are some times I need to grid to stay exact in relation to the artboard - this answers that.
