Is there an option to limit either the width and/or length of the shape tool?

Is there or can there be an option added to the shape tool - for example, the rectangle tool, to allow it to be limited to a predefined height or width or both?
In a similar way with stars and ovals?

@Boldline By that you mean an aspect ratio "lock" (golden ratio maybe?) that allows for different sized shapes, or an actual "locked" width or height for the shapes?

This is different from your first request (if I understand correctly), and I think you can simply rotate the canvas at the angle you need (see the second field at the bottom of the document window) and everything you draw will be at that angle until you rotate it back to 0°.

No such option. Only proportional, or centered drawing.

This one actually can be done by rotating the view. The rectangle (or oval) drawn will use the view angle.
