How to Reset Transform or bake the bounding box?

This is something I need explained: Why can't I Reset Transform or bake the bounding box in subgroup 02?

@Raaskot This seems to be a bug.
Use Object -> Convert to Curves for flattening

@Raaskot I tested the file: in this case "Reset Transform" is not applicable.
Both layer transforms are already flattened, but this does not mean the object is converted to curves.
When the child layer is selected, the parent layer transform will transform the bounding box.All these transforms can be seen in the Shape Effects panel.
So in this case, only the Convert to Curves helps
