Paste in Place
-
I would like to once again request the addition of a Paste in Place feature (for multiple pages of the same size). It is really important at times and greatly improves efficiency. Both AI and AF already support Paste in Place.
-
@macos Can Edit -> Placing -> Paste in Place do this?
-
@VectorStyler
1.Multiple pages of the same size won't work — it still pastes onto the page that was copied from.2.There are still issues when converting shape text to frame text.

This should be then "Paste on All Artboards"
There are still issues when converting shape text to frame text.
Not all of these cases will work (depends on the shape text), send me an example.

More on this:
to keep position you need to enable: "Paste with Artboard Position" on Settings -> Other Options

Can you distinguish between shape text and frame text?
Just like AI, once selected, you can immediately tell which is the shape text and which is the frame text. -
@macos On the canvas the selected shape text will have a thin blue underline than can be adjusted with the Node tool.
The selected frame text will show the frame.
In the Layers panel, the shape text will show the text as the object name in {}, the frame text will show "Frame Text"Also: if a single object is selected, the status bar (bottom) can show Frame Text for frame, and the "{text}" content for shape text
