Can you please tell me the destinction between these two text frames?

I cannot resize the content text of the one at the left using the combination click-drag-option-shift.
      What's the difference?

@Raaskot Was either of these text frames converted from text shapes?

Here, when I resize either of them, the font is not resized (which is the default for text frames).

@VectorStyler said in Text frames, please tell me the difference ...:

Was either of these text frames converted from text shapes?

No. And if I convert to shape and reconvert to frame again the font resizes with no other option for bounding box tranfomation only.

Here, when I resize either of them, the font is not resized (which is the default for text frames).

Odd. According video and my experiennce it behaves otherwise ...

@Raaskot What happens when you create a new text frame (using that font)?

              (1) If I Set Default Paragraph Style to Cachet Pro Regular, and the
              (2) create a new text frame with Text Tool (T),
              (3) this have the same characteristics as described:
option-shift-drag on corner make font resize
