Affinity Designer used to provide an "Add to Selection" option that allows users to keep building a selection without repeatedly holding a modifier key. This is useful when selecting many separate objects or nodes, especially with a mouse or pen tablet.

Could VectorStyler add similar persistent selection modes to the contextual controls for both the Transform Tool and the Node Tool?

Suggested modes:

New selection
Add to selection
Subtract from selection
Toggle selection

This could be added to the contextual toolbar or contextual menu for each tool. A persistent "Add to Selection" mode would make complex object and node selections faster and reduce unnecessary keyboard use.
